1988 Renix vacuum lines & alt.question
 

I have a 1988 Cherokee -Renix motor - that I am trying to get running again. Thanks to "Cruiser54's" site I was able to finally get it started, but motor stumbles on acceleration. there is a vacuum pod directly under the throttle body, with 2 ports - one on the attaching manifold, the other coming out of pod @ 2 o'clock position & I have no idea where they go - lines are missing - & don't see this in diagrams. pod is about the size of a hockey puck & mounts directly to intake manifold. I have them capped off for now & it will start. any info would be helpful. Also, any Ideas on where to find a plastic plug-in attaching clip for alternator- 2wire- wires are hanging in the breeze. there are 5 pins on alt., but apparently only uses 2 ?? not sure which 2, again any help would be appreciated. thanks DJ, definitely a much clearer diagram than I have found, but shows only one line going from EGR valve to solenoid & there is another tube on opposite side of EGR valve that I have not seen in any diagram's. there are 3 port's on solenoid, so I'll experiment & try & get it right.
