1984---1998 Cherokee Front end
Will The 84 Cherokee front end swap right over on the 98 cherokee? Just the front grill head light assembly that whole front quarter panel?

Yes, it should. Are you using the 84 front bumper? The 84 bumper ends wont match up with the 98 Quarter panels though if I remember right. My buddy and I put a 99 front end on his 88, and I remember the newer body style front quarter panels being an inch or so HiGheR. But it will bolt on.

Not use the front bumper! I have after market bumper that has a winch on it! But its the 84 in my profile pic! I pick myself up a 98 Cherokee with a 4.0 but its missing the Quarter pane! head lights grill so i was just gonna swap what i need! My 84 only has a 2.8! Imma eventually put a 4.3 in it but not until a wjhile! i gotta get this 98 on the street

I am building an 84 out of an 88 and the front clip you are talking about will not inter change cuz the 84 has studs in the front and the 88 has studs stickin out the fenders. and they are in different places. The 4.0 l fit right in the 84 but I don't know about the 1998 body...if u want to put the 4.0 l in the 84 its pretty easy, u just have to switch motor mounts and wiring(under hood and under dash) Hell the electric fuel pump looks like it will fit in the older fuel tank, its easy just time consuming
