'05 Cherokee, 270k+ miles starting issue

My '05 has been exhibiting this starting problem for about a month. After it sits for several hours it will start then immediately shut down. I can continue to start the engine and it will continue to shut down for 3-4 tries, the it will start and stay running. Once started it runs fine.:confused1: This morning it did the same thing and on the 4th try I gave it a liittle gas and rev'ed it up. Stayed running and ran perfectly. This doesn't happen all the time. This time I hadn't driven it for 3 days.

Thanks for any help with this issue.

:dunno:Maybe fuel pressure??

You will probably get more responses if you post to the Grand Cherokee section instead of the Cherokee section...
