Original owner here, no mods. Backed her into a parking spot and the tires were right up against the parking block. When I shut her off a sound came from underneath and back that sounded like something spinning or trying to shut down. Started her up and pulled forward a few inches to release any "pressure" on the brakes or whatever, shut her off and the same noise, kind of grinding, spinning sound. I haven't been able to duplicate it since. Any ideas?

Thanks
Terri

what transfer case do you have? if you have the NV242 and running in full time it could have slipped a little out and it could be between Full time and Nuetral. If you have a NV231 it be between 2wd and 4hi. Try shifting it in and out of 4wd and see if that does anything.
