Just had a quick question about the write-up submissions. I've made a couple now (excluding my exhaust manifold one) that seem to go no where, with my thermostat one even vanishing altogether. I've contacted a couple of mods, but just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything I am doing wrong on my end? I have a couple more write-ups I plan to submit, and I just don't want the effort to be in vain. Should I put these write-ups in the OEM Tech section instead?

I would PM a mod after you submit it. They sometimes forget to check that section and approve them.

That's the thing. I have been. I want to make sure it isn't something wrong on my end.

Strange, they must not have gotten your PM or something. I PM'd a mod and he thanked me because there was a back-up of submissions because nobody had checked them in a while. Mine was approved almost instantly.

Who are you PMing about this? I assume you are clicking on the section titled Technical Write-up Submission?

Also keep in mind the site and ran by volunteers so if they are a bit slower at getting the writeup posted to the general populace just be patient. After all they do have fulltime jobs and families as well

Oh I certainly do keep it in mind, and I am very grateful that our mods take that time to keep everything rolling in bounds while offering help and at times amusements.

Alright all done. There was quite a few going back back 3 months.
If any did not get in, don't feel bad because reasons could be:
Not enough info.
Write up already exists.

I just looked and found a lot of new write up's, this Saturday or sometime after work this week I'll go through them.
Just giving the heads up your submissions are there unchecked.
