Why cant I see posted pictures in threads?
 

Can someone help me figure out why I can't ever see pictures attached to posts....???? It really aggravates me because pictures really help in certain situations.

Very occasionally my computer will show a picture in a thread, or several pictures, but its rare.
Does the format that the picture was uploaded in determine if my computer will show it or not? (JPEG, PDF, PNG, etc)
I just went to another forum (LS1Tech.com) to test the problem and I went through about 5 threads that had pictures posted in them and only one of the threads came up with the pictures directly in the post. All the rest just don't show up.

I have to guess its a computer setting, but I don't know THAT much about computer settings.

Sorry you're running into this issue. Do you happen to have a VPN enabled? If so, please try turning it off and photos should begin to load for you.

I personally dont use a VPN. BUT this problem occurs on my work laptop, which does use a server in another city/state, so could that be the issue?

DO you think this is an issue that occurs with forums? I feel like t his happens when i'm trying to see photos of things other people uploaded to the website/forum. Including other forums.

While we can't speak for forums outside our network, those within it use the same underlying image host that requires the disabling of a VPN or similar server relay.
