I keep seeing all these threads moved out of the fabrication section into the modified tech section which doesn't make much sense to me. I think there should be a "Modifications" section added to the forum. That would leave:

"Fabrication" to true fabrication ... things built from scratch, the


"Modifications" section would be a place to post any modifications made to your vehicle or parts. An example of this would be cutting the hinges on your door to make them removable.

"Modified Cherokee Tech" to tech posts for modified Xj's. An example of this would be "What emergency brake cables do I need for a grand Cherokee rear disk brake swap on my 8.25?"

"Oem Cherokee Tech" would be for stock Cherokee posts/questions. "How can I test my fuel pressure regulator?"

"Cherokee Chat" would be reserved for just that... Cherokee chat. "Has anybody tried these fog lights?"



I think this setup would be easier to handle and much easier for everyone to navigate.

sounds great on paper. sadly, it most likely wouldnt work in the real world. no matter what, there will still be people posting in the wrong section.

That's true but most people post in the wrong section simply because they're confused... they've read the stickies but still aren't sure. Hell, even I get confused as to where to post sometimes lol. I think these small changes would cut down on wrong posts A LOT.
