I think this should be changed from ebay search to a google search.
It would be something thats actually useful, especially with "search this site" and "search google" options like seen on most forums. As seen on the second pic.

We'll wait and see what the owners of the site say. I will send this this direction. My personal opinion is I agree but I also can see why they added it. If memory serves sites make money everytime someone uses that to search for something on ebay but i could be completely wrong.
