part number thread
Ok hopefully this is a better idea than my last one. A thread for part numbers and only mods can add and people can submit info so there's no chit chat just factual info.
Example. 87-01 front ds cv ball seat repair kit p# 7-0081ng Let me know what you think, I hate making several trips to part stores because of the wrong part |

I like it but the mods will be very busy. Maybe a thread like the vin #thread? Each person can add their own p#. Update the list occasionally. |

That sounds good , hopefully people will just post part numbers and not bs
And again, the moderators don't have time to keep a thread updated with part numbers. I've found that finding the part number myself online before going to the parts store is the way to go... I used to work for O'Reilly's so I just go in there and get my own stuff. It makes it much easier than trying to explain that I need ball joints for an 83 Jeep Wagoneer, brake calipers for a 85 F-150, a brake booster for a 2003 Grand Cherokee and a rear axle seal for a 2002 Ford Explorer. |
