Libertys and Commanders

I've seen a Liberty get stuck at the beach where our XJ's stock would not even have the slightest issue. Also the shop I work in sees them day in and out for many problems which have to be referred to dealer because of the infamous "ghost in the box"
I've also seen Liberty's lifted, bigger tires, etc. do very well off road and never have an issue.
Imo if Jeep calls the new gen Liberty the Cherokee then alright

I had one with lockers and 31's in my group once.
We spent a awful lotta time helping this guy.. I think he could have done better if his driving skills didn't suck.

I think that the liberty even when it went to the boxy style was too cutesy for off-road and the commander how long did it last?

It would not be bad at all if they used a D30 up front and had the 4.0L.

+1 I liked the look. I feel as if the MOPAR brand as a whole has suffered and none of the three are as good as they used to be. Dodge has the Challenger and the Charger is alright but they lost the Ram and the Viper, Chrysler is trying but nothing is amazing anyone.

I've driven a few Commanders and wouldn't actually mind one as a DD, but it should never have been a Jeep and should have been produced under Dodge imo.
