I want to ask a questin, looked for Start New Thread button, finally found something, wrote question and it has not shown up , FAQ says may need permission, have spent some time trying to do this, how hard should it be?

 

You found the Technical Write up section, I"m guessing. That's for experienced members who want to contribute a write up on how to do something.

Just go to the correct forum for your vehicle (main page, read the descriptions of the various forums, modified vs. stock, Cherokee vs. Grand Cherokee, etc.), then click on the correct forum. When it loads, look for a button near the top left that says, "Start Thread".

 

I've been trying to get a thread on the stock xj forum, but each time i go to submit it, it never says it has to be approved by a moderator. Although it never gets approved? I have sent messages to those mods but do not get a response. What am I doing wrong? Thanks and sorry for the hijack.
