Have a closed thread about the history of the cherokee explaining the initials just other fun facts. this way when people who are new come to the site they know what kind of cherokee they have.

I agree, people ask alot of stupid questions about configurations and the like, but then again probably nobody will read it before asking them.

Why would anyone want to waste the time to read simple informative threads like the forum rules, how to search, catalytic convertor laws, or much less the history of the XJ. And don't think about taking the time to make sure a new thread is posted in the correct forum section, heck that's what the mods are for, to clean up all the mess created by those who can't do for themselves.
