Flasher and turn signal

I have a 2000 Cherokee Sport. Failed inspection cause if I use left turn signal flashers come on in the rear. Not in front or on dash. Signed STUMPED

don't suppose it could just be a burned out bulb up front.

make sure all of the turn signals have the correct bulbs installed, if the wrong bulbs are installed weird things can happen. If the bulbs are correct then the issue might be the combination flasher, the multi function switch, or wiring issue.
