Fabrication?
Alright, i know this has been brought up a lot but I've never seen an answer so i thought i'd try. The fabrication section seems to have become a hassle and a lot of aggravation for a lot of people. Every time i log on i see immeasurable threads moved or closed from or in the fab section. Numerous efforts have been made to help users to understand what it is to be used for with little resolution. It seems to have come to the point that moderators can't handle or just plain don't have the time to deal with the amount of misguided threads. I made this because i saw a post saying the fabrication section may be closed all together.
So my question is: Why not just make a sub forum "Fabrication Questions"? Its seems that would eleviate the majority of the problem as when members see "Fabrication" they assume questions are included in that. Just trying to help and would hate to see us loose such a valuable section.

Sounds like a good idea. X3 I would also make the fab section description a little more blatantly obvious like "IF YOU HAVE ALREADY STARTED WELDING ON YOUR PROJECT POST HERE!" Haha

1) people who finished they're project
2) people who have just begun it
3) people who draw something up and wish one day to do it haha

Then there's those who thinks pulling the stock air filter box and putting a open air one in as fabrication........I mean tossing in that piece of tin foil to block heat is fab....

So are you saying the answer to my question is that people would continue to misunderstand the meaning of fabrication no matter what?

Renaming the section appropriately would probably go a long way in clearing up the confusion about it imo. A finished product is not fabrication. Fabrication is a process and the section doesn't reflect that. /twocents
