email notifications?
How do I stop getting email notifications on every post I write or some else writes on threads I am subscribed to? It takes up a lot of my email space which is limited by my provider.

I have checked that no email notifications and I still get them. I even went under subscribed threads and checked all and selected no email and still get them. I am missing something.

There was no nice way to stop sending email notifications here so I had to block sender on my email. That is a problem that cherokee forum should look into. Please email me when you have resolved this matter. Oh wait you can't, I have you blocked from my email. LOL

i think it only blocks threads you post in after you check no email notifcations so the ones you got emails with before still send you emails (if i have typed taht in a way you guys can understand, typing is not my strong point)

I have the opposite, I never get notified even though I have it checked for instant. Have to go to User Cp and pull up all threads to see if someone responded. Any suggestions ?

If you are receiving emails you do not want, make sure you go into your UserCP --> Edit Options and under Messaging & Notifications, make sure you select the appropriate Default Subscription Mode.
This will keep you from being subscribed to future threads.
If you are receiving emails from threads you subscribed to a prior to changing this option, go into UserCP --> List Subscriptions and make sure you delete or change the settings on the subscriptions that are already in place.
If you are not receiving emails when you are expecting to, can you please go into your List Subscriptions and make sure the thread is listed there. If it is not, then please add it and see if that fixes the problem. If the thread is there and the notifier is not doing what it says (emailing at designated time) please check your spam folder and then let me know what you find out.
Thanks and sorry for any inconvenience.
