Ok here it is a poll. Let's see what everyone thinks. We have had some questions and concerned about not having signature pictures. Some like them some don't. So cast your vote and voice your thoughts. Should we allow mods and supporting members to have them or should they go?

It really doesnt matter to me... since they can be turned off so the page loads faster, when needed. If the server space allows it, then why not. I have seen some really cool banners...

I voted no. At home it's no problem (Firefox lets me turn them off) but at work I'm stuck with a smaller monitor and IE7 so I have to scroll to the side to read any thread that has the gigantic signature banners in them.
Stryker: Don't turn yours off on my account. Majority rules on this one.

I vote yes simply because it is a tradition among automotive forums.
sigs are also a powerful tool for supporting vendors. I work for a vendor on a bmw site, and having our image follow my post adds an official look to things.

also it is nice to be able to use signatures to easily recognize members, for example this is my sig on another forum:
http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...&postcount=684
the image is downloaded and cached in your PC so that when you see that members posts in other threads you dont download it over and over again, so network resources should not be an issue. The forums I linked to for examples have a set size the sig image can be, and have rules along the lines of no adult content or profanity etc.
I am used to having sigs and would like to put my new project in a sig here soon.

Well I like mine and unless the results of this poll and member opinion forces me to I am not going to relinquish mine.

You have to talk to me, I make the ones like Nick and Blue and OKC and o'course mine.
I was doing them for Mods but I can make an exception for supporting members.
Just tell me what colors you like and I will try to implement them when I have time.
