There is a forum that I am on that sends emails about new posts, just like this one, except if you don't go on the site and see the new posts, you won't be sent any more emails for that thread. It just seems like a good way to keep inbox's from filling up if you are gone for a few days/weeks and don't check your email.

I don't know if Cherokeeforum could do that, I suppose it would take a new way of keeping track of who has viewed what posts and such.

Turn email notifications off and just check the site for replies to your subscriptions.

This or set an email filter so all CF emails go right to a CF specific folder...?
