busted hood latch

busted hood latch
alright so i pulled the hood release and nothing happened is there any way to pop the hood without it? I took the grill off and it looks impossible. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

1st tip: Post it in the Tech. section for the Cherokees. Or in the section for the Grands if that's what it is...
