Default Advanced Tech forum

Now I'm sure I'll probably get flamed for this or something but I have to say it...

How did the Advanced Cherokee Tech forum shrivel down to a general Tech forum? There are way too many posts about stock swaps and stock issues and the advanced section is supposed to be modifying beyond stock. I mainly come to the Advanced section because of that reason (I don't mind helping where I can with stock stuff but prefer going beyond that). It seems like as the days go on, it keeps getting worse! Anyone else pick up on this also?

I guess any after market part means it belongs in the Advanced Sextion. LOL Picked up on this, but don't really have an answer. Guess we really have to ask ourselves what is "beyond stock"?

Maybe it's just the Pirate mentality in me or the mechanic side for this post. Right now I see 7 or so posts on the main page that really should belong in the other forum. I know this forum will never be like Pirate (one Pirate is more than enough) but they're real strict on what gets posted into the hardcore forums. If you posted a stock-ish question in there then you would get bashed and then the post would get moved.

It's a shame though. These forums work great at getting the topics across if organized but it seems like most of the Mods just don't care anymore.

I just had a thought. Do you think some people start threads in the Advance Forum because they feel the problem is too advanced for them to solve?

There needs to be a MODIFIED Thread section. Then the problem would solve itself. Garauntee it.

I'll move this to the CF Questions and Suggestions section. The rest of the staff will be alerted to this once thats done.

As for the quality of the threads...its directly linked the the quality of our members. If none of our members are doing anything 'advanced' or they don't post what they are doing...the section will naturally suck.
