Seems faster, but I only had sporadic loading issues before in the evening when there were lots of people logged on. Hopefully this will cure the problem.

Well, the big issue for us was the evening hours when the site would slow down when everyone was on at once. That should no longer happen and will be the biggest speed improvement.

So far so good, it really seems faster.

Yeah it's holding up nicely. 58 members and 155 guests on-line. We should be good now when the crowd gathers.

Were any changes made to the forum itself along with the migration between servers?

Nope, it was a straight migration.

I just noticed the "display options" windows at the bottom of the sub forum pages...:wacko:

I better pay more attention...


And if you dont mind my asking, where is the server located?

In Dallas at a company called Softlayer.

Nice for home use. Sucks now though because my govt. computer at work blocks this server, didn't the other. Gotta find something else to do at work now I suppose.
