rousch creek trip 6/1
 

Was planning on leaving rochester @4pm but a fire at the town hall set us back 5 hours. Lost my muffler somewhere at the NY/pa line. Had to unclog the radiator overflow hose with an acquired flyswatter from a gas station. Then what I thought was a bad rear bearing turned out to be a loose wheel. It's 230 am and just checked into the econolodge. Hell of a trip so far,can't wait to wheel in the morning

Sounds like a wild trip so far.

Well were about 2 hours into the trail cutting and I'm exhausted. Aside from a little bit a coolant leaking and the tranny slipping the xj is running like a champ.

Just got back to the hotel. What a day...all I can say is I couldn't be prouder of the xj. Took everything I threw at it, even a few black trails.I'll have pics up on our website when we get back home..be sure to check it out
