Planning First 4X4 Trip Soon, Need Suggestions
Hey guys! I've been wanting to do an actual trip sometime soon instead of going to the SVRA nearby. I'm not really familiar with the trails or anything in the Nor-Cal area, so any suggestions?
I'm not looking for hardcore trails, like the Rubicon. Something more subdued and scenic, but still has a bit of obstacles (minor rock crawling, river crossings, etc...) I'm planning for a week long trip up either Highway 50 or 80 here in California, leaving the Sacramento area. |
I think you're in the wrong section? Lol
Basically prepare for the worse, hope for the best lol |
Oh, I do? What section then?

Check out the Trans America Trail! It is a collection of mostly dirt roads that cross nearly the entire country. You could hop on it where it goes through Colorado and ride it all the way to Oregon. I rode it 2000 miles from TN-OK on a KLR 650. I would LOVE to finish the western part someday, in a Jeep
