Jeep Cherokee Forum - Pancake Rock San Diego, CA

Went with a variety of jeeps June 2. This was my first time on this trail and it was definitely technical. My dad and uncle went a couple of weeks ago at night for the first time and had a tuff time picking the right line. This trail is an old fire road that is completely washed out with deep ruts and rocks throughout. It's called Pancake Rock due to a huge granite rock at the top. It's a steep and challenging trail with an incredible view at the end. It took us about 1.5hrs from the start of the trail to pancake rock. The decent is fast but rough and challenging. Overall the best/tuffet trail I have been on in San Diego.
