Frank Zimkas was nice enough to take me out on my second real trail run in my rig. It was a beautiful day, and Frank was awesome about the whole day, which included many issues, lol. I have never written a trail report, and it is hard to say how much or little I should include. When my XJ wasn't vapor locked/heat soaked, it was doing decent on the trail, thanks to the great spotting by Frank. I have a LOT still to learn, and I think I will hit some easier trails to get more control on my clutch, but I am super thankful to have someone like Frank willing to take me out, knowing I am a rookie/noob to wheeling. The trail had a lot of good obstacles and I got to test/flex out my rig quite a bit. Quick rundown on my rig, '01 XJ, 6" Rusty's LA, 33" MT/R Kevlars, Eaton E lockers F/R, 4.56 gears, Dana 30/XJ Dana 44. Unless otherwise noted, the photos were taken by Frank.
