Default Fins and Things Moab

Well this weekend I wanted a little more of a challenge so we hit up Fins and Things just outside Moab. This trail is just so sweet as far as scenery goes that pictures don't do it a bit of justice. You look at the area and go how the hell do you drive though there but the trail is actually pretty easy. It has a bunch of fun slick rock climbs and descents with a landscape that blows your mind. I did the southern portion of this trail back in May with a rental jeep and it was great to do the whole thing with the Cherokee.

The beginning starts right off on slickrock

Jeep and some scenery

One of the many smaller drops

More scenery

This was steeper than it looks

Some more ledges

Hit the front on this one...

One of the hardest obstacles on the trail... took me a couple of tries

I didn’t think this guy was going to make it until I realized he had lockers

A sweet Wrangler we ran into and ended up doing the North side with

More random shots

My camera started to die towards the end which was the best part so I didn’t take many pics but here are a few to show the landscape

Frenchy's Fin... again way steeper than it looks

A few more poser shots

And a few shots from a quick drive we took to a cool overlook looking over the valley I live in. In fact in the first pic if you see that lighter colored area just to the right of Castle Rock "the big spire in the middle" on the valley floor... that’s my front yard lol

Sorry for the TONS of pics. Definitely a fun day of wheelin... if anybody is in the
Moab area and wants to do a trail that’s not extreme that has amazing terrain and views I would recommend Fins and Things
