Unfortunately life has stalled this project to great dismay. As hard as we try to go work on it we keep getting knocked backwards over and over. I am once again hoping that we can caught up and go work on it soon. But being positive about this is getting harder and harder.
But it ain't going anywhere and it's not perishable... lol
Thank you for checking into this! You just reminded me that I need to reload all the image files I linked to here. I have had trouble with the image uploader here lately, but I will try to get that done ASAP like I promised. It was unfair of me to leave all these links dead like this. I still have them just need to upload them again.

put up those pictures man I can only imagine how beautifully awesome it is out there! I've always wanted to help set up a Cherokee park or something like that, just like my father did YEARS ago!

No problem man! I would love to help out with it but I'd have to wait till mid July/late July! Actually I'd have to wait till Junior is done put up those pictures man I can only imagine how beautifully awesome it is out there! I've always wanted to help set up a Cherokee park or something like that, just like my father did YEARS ago!

Yeah my dad used to take his custom 1976 scout II off roading and made tons of trails and paths all over Rhode Island and the cape. Sadly they have mostly been reclaimed by nature which isn't a bad thing either. I'd love to do the same thing.

First it needs a road to it from the nearest access road... lol
It's only about 150 yards though, and I have the equipment to make it easy. Then I will start terracing where needed for our minimal needs. We are going to try and "fit ourselves into" the awesome natural vegetation and make as little impact as possible to preserve it as much as possible. We are not "clear cut" kind of people and want to live with and among the natural surroundings there.

Sounds sweet! I would go for a large enough clearing or even a couple of clearings in close proximity of each other and make those the campsites, and the road is Definitely doable, about two years ago I helped lay down a Massive drainage line/rock driveway in a day(!!!!) It was tough and it was hot as hell out but it can definitely be done!

Yep... Just several minimal terraced pads fit in and spaced out among the soundings at different levels. We plan to build the abode into the hillside, and the cool thing is that the building materials are already on site. We have a couple layers of fantastic thick flat slate rock to harvest. All we will need is the mortar.

Thank you! I just need to get caught up so I can get it done... The trials and tribulations of life keep tripping me up.
