WTB set stock "saw" steel wheels in New England

My stock (not lifted) '97 Cherokee came used with black steel American Racing AR767 15x7 rims with 4" backspacing. I'm getting new stock size tires soon (has stock size now) and would like stock steel wheels so the tires don't stick out like they do now (stock backspacing is 5.25"). I'd like a set of stock Jeep silver steel wheels with 6 triangular openings. I've seen these referred to as "saw blade" wheels on this site. Pickup in New England (I'm in Mass.) preferred. I would consider trading these AR wheels. These black wheels with chrome center caps are in good condition (4 years old). Thanks.

No they don't come with tires. I'm kinda looking to trade for something with more backspacing.

i have a set of 4 of those rims with tires on there in good condition, the rims are a little rusty though, i'm asking $100 for all four if you are anywhere near new jersey. pictures here https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f11/95...-out-nj-75092/

I took some photos of the American Racing wheels quickly before work today. I'm looking for the wheels with 6 triangular openings, not 5 (yes it makes a difference to me). The last photo is an example of what I'm looking for. Thanks again.

what your have pictured looks like the standard cragar D window rims. the same ones i have on my jeep 15x8. i think they are only like $45 or $50 but those def aren't american racing rims.

hey man this is what your looking for https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f11/15...92/#post839541 there not to expensive

My center caps are stamped "American Racing," (the pictures don't show it - it's snowing right now so please take my word for it). I want stock silver wheels with 6 triangular openings (the center caps say "Jeep" like the last picture I posted). I don't want aftermarket wheels that stick out like these do. Thanks again.

the black cragar ones with the d windows will stick out some, i think its like 4'' of backspacing. as far as the American Racing center caps go, you can always just stick those in your cheaper rim.

dang i always thought the red and blue stripes were the cheaper cragers.. sorry blue6gc i was wrong and was kinda leading you in the same wrong direction

braves7pro 02-01-2011 07:49 AM

there is alot of different brands tht have black wheels with the red and blue stripes.

yeah i didn't know that lol u learn something new every day.. but i think the moral of the story is since i have such a hard time telling the difference between the $80 ones and the $45 cragers i'd go with cheaper ones, i've been running them for a couple of years and the finish is still good
