Looking for xj overhead console wiring harness. Jeep is a 00 overhead is out of a 99. I'm ok modifying the harness but it would be nice to have one to reference from.

Was just at the junkyard yesterday saw two hanging. Search out your loocal yunkyard you should be able to find relatively easy.

Vary hard to find in my area. I have found a few standard over head light harnesses but non with the info center.

My brother had the reverse of this issue. All we did was disassemble the connectors and reassemble them as they should have been. The wiring pin connectors are the same, it's just the plastic surrounding them is slightly different.

I used the existing pink, black and yellow wires. I spliced them into the overhead console so the lights would work as they should. The keyless entry border plugged rite in to the existing harness that was there. That still leaves me with the wires that go to the information center. I guess I need to pull the glove box and kick panel and see ware they plug in at and see if I can determine ware to splice them in at the overhead. I believe I'm only missing about 4-6 wires.
