Cheaper to find a 8.8 with stock 4.10 gears and swap it in then to buy and install gears in a 8.25... unless u can do gears yourself... just a thought

I don't want to have to mess with setting up the spring perches or e-brake cables on the 8.8.

Heck of alot easier and cheaper then setting up gears but its your Jeep... best of luck

I bought a 8.25 with 4.10s cause I didn't want to install them myself. Come to find out the axle howeled. I bought an 8.8 with 4.10 and swapped it in. Was actually very easy.

On that note my 8.25 has yukon 4.10's in it. Have ~3k on the gear set. Can't tell if the gears are the source of the noise, I didn't want to put too much time into it and just upgraded. If your interested I can do $60+shipping. ~12lbs from 04210

I picked up a 8.8 today for as much as it would cost to buy the gears above and an install kit.
