The adapters for the 784s don't work well on the 96-98 XJs since they had those extra big and fat injector plugs. 5 out of 6 it is no problem but usually the one under the throttle cable bracket it a problem. If it was me I'd just splice in EV-6 plugs and be donw with it.

How can I get a set of EV6 plugs? And how hard is the splice? Just two wires per plug? Still rather have 703s if possible. Its an easier swap.
