IAam looking to spend about 5000 and I'm wanting a Cherokee xj. I need it to be 4wheel(destroyed my 2wd) but It will be my Dailey driver for atleast 2-3 yrs at least!!! Please give some advice I have never had a jeep and this time I'm not making excuses lol. Thanks

 

Not sure if you found one yet but for $5000 you should be able to get a real good quality one. I would look to spend $3500-$4000 and keep $1000-$1500 on the side for any potential repairs or parts you may need later. Search Craigslist for XJs in that price level in your area and share the link on here and you will get a lot of advice on whether it is a good buy or not
