ring & pinion 3.55
Hey everyone, looking for stock replacement gears for my Mom's Jeep. Need front ring & pinion (3.55 gears) for her 2001 Grand Cherokee Laredo, front differential. Please let me know what you have, miles & condition also shipped price to 46947.

It is a low pinion......99-04 all had low pinion (from what I've heard). I'm not big into Jeeps, so I apologize if I don't have all the info or not sure on some answers about it.

Its ok gotta learn some how. In all actuality it woukd be easiee and cheaper to swap a new feont axle in. Cause replacing ring and pinion you are gonna need an install kit and then have to pay someone at least 200 to set gears correctly. Or else your gonna be doing it all over again.

A family member is doing all of the work. He is a a certified ASE technician, and an avid Jeep guy also. I found another front axle at a local salvage yard for $400, but I don't want my Mom (it's her Jeep) to spend that much since it only "needs" gears. The gears are out of it, and wouldn't be an immediate issue if it weren't for winter. The kicker is that she just bought the vehicle & has had issues since day 1.
