Rear Fender Flare Retainers 97 XJ
I'm looking for a set of fender flare retainers for a 97 XJ. Only need the REAR stuff. I was able to find the front ones online but can't find the rears anywhere. would need shipping to Mass.

I've got some that I pulled from my 2000 yesterday. I'll have to check on the condition later. I did break every bolt when I pulled my flares though. I'm not sure if that matters or not.
I'll take $5 plus shipping.

are they the same for all years? i think so... i can get them off a 94 probly in the JY... is clean as heck was a C4C... probly could get them off without breaking with alittle magic... oh wait... someone got the front fenders now... so i can get the rears from it and the front from a diff one... dealer wants that each? or for all 4?

If your not attached to the 97+ flares (they have new style bolt strips) you could swap on any 96 and under flares with regular hardware.. dont even need the strips. Then you would need to trim the flare if your running the stock rear bumper caps.
Could probably pick up 4 flares for about $20..

I'd like to keep the 97 flares just because i already paid a decent amount of money for them at the junk yard (jeep didn't have any flares or hardware when i got it)

I ran 97+ flares on my 94 for a short while. In the end it wasnt worth the aggrivation of popping them back on or finding boltstrips all the time.. so i went back to earlier model flares.

Gregg, do you still have yours? I think as long as just the studs are broken but the rest is relatively unmangled I think i may just be able to drill out the studs and use a bolt and nut.
