Rear Cargo Cover
Hey guys...new to Jeep as a whole and have a '96 Cherokee Sport 2Dr that I would like a rear cargo cover for. Did any of these even have such a thing? Not sure where to get one, but if anyone has a grey one, that would be great. Shoot me a price, shipped to Louisville, KY or ZIP 40241 please. I do not have any attaching hardware, so if these are available, I need everything. Thanks!

Yes they do appear to be elusive little creatures at best. I have not owned a Jeep before rather I am one of the old Bronco II guys. All of those had covers for the back and I took for granted that Jeep would be the same. Not the case. Must be another OPTION as are the seats, radio and such, lol. Not to bash my new toy, as I do love my '96 XJ 2dr. Should be a fun one! Thanks for the confidence that they DO exist!

rear cargo cover
I do have a dark gray cargo cover from a 96 Jeep Gr. Cherokee. I never used it. I can send you pics if you would like. I did a quick search to get an idea of what they go for and found one place online that sells them for $90, so how about $60 +shipping? I'll look into the shipping cost and let you know.

It won't work. IIRC for that year ZJ they hook directly into the lift gate to close, and the ZJ panel is specially molded to accept them. Opening the "trunk will open the cover as well. The XJ does not have that design & I doubt you can modify to fit. If the OP can find an XJ cover, I might be able to provide the mounting hardware.
