My business partner and I were parting out a '99 a few weeks ago, I think he may still have the motor. I'll call him today and be sure.
I heard it run and actually drove the XJ it was in and it was quiet and strong. About 160K miles I think. We were in the $400 range.
He may also have a trans and 242 t-case from the same vehicle.

i have one in wester ny, that came out of a 96 jeep just taken off the road with in the last 6 months. engine has approx. 170000 on it. if you are interested shoot me a pm
