That boot is for a Wrangler. The one in the link. I know because i ordered one and its not even close to fitting my 98 five speed. the hole is oval not round like a wrangler.

I searched and searched for a replacement and never found one. I even up taping the hell out of my stock torn boot and its still holding up

The Tj boot actually worked really well. I just had to get the Tj trans tunnel plate as well which is identical in size/shape to the Xj with just a different hole. Everything bolted up like stock. So Tj plate and boot work very well on Xj.

Ahhh i get it now I didnt notice you used the TJ plate
