I have a detroit truetrac for a hp dana 30. Not a locker but works well.

I don't have one i want to get rid of, but i really love the one i have and u can buy a brand new one for less than $300. Im all about the Aussielocker. Never know its there till ya need it. Don't really know it's there then, Jeep just goes like Magic.

I think i paid like $264 shippin to my door and all. Only thing i regret just a tiny bit is i wish i'd put it in the rear axle insteada the front... I know they got'em for the Chrysler 8.25". I'd say the price would be somewhere in that same neighborhood.

No dumb questions. I am not totaly sure but I believe that all XJ's after 87 or 88 had HP front axles. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
