Looking for a Ford 8.8 explorere axle with 4.10 gears installed? NJ here

Hey guys. South Jersey jeeper here. I am looking for a Ford Explorer rear axle with 4.10 gears and disc brakes. Do any of you guys know where I can find one or have a one that has already been swapped? Hardly any junkyards down here and I can't find any. Thanks guys

ford 8.8 rears

I'm from northeast Pa. junkyards here are full of explorers. mostly 3L73's but eddie bauer explorers came factory with 4L10's. Come up this way, you'll definitely find one. Usually around $300.

I found more 4.10s and 3.73 geared explorer rears last weekend than you can shake a stick at . I needed a 3.55 ! Bought a complete 3.55 open axle for 55 bucks !

Thanks man. I might be going towards north jersey soon which has many junkyards. How far from wildwood, NJ to your area?
