I'm looking for a 4.0 4x4 XJ, not having to much luck with craigslist.
If it needs slight work its fine as long as its not entirely rusted out, or needs major motor or tranny work.
If it has dents its fine, needs an exhaust I'm fine with that. Torn up interior is fine as long as the seats are there and not too torn up
I would say my price range is 1200 and lower.
Just trying to see what's out there
I have an almost complete Yamaha blaster to trade (I'm parting it out at the moment but most of it is still there).

I have a 91 Jeep cherokee 4 door with a 4.0L, automatic transmission. NP242 transfer case, dana 30 front axle, dana 35 rear axle. Located in southern illinois. I can put pics up if interested. Are you wanting to make a playtoy out of it?

It will be for used as both a DD and for off roading, I'm interested post up some pics
I'm not sure if I'll have the money for the trip to illinois to get it though. probably be somewhere well over $130 in gas there and back.

I use it as a dd and it's been doing pretty good.. It needs a bit of engine work but other than that everything seems fine. I bought it cheap but had to put alot of work and money into it to get it driveable. It not in the best of shape but I'll get some pics up here pretty soon.

i do. west central indiana. i have a 90 2dr, 3in lift on 265/16 bfgs,(two spares) and set of factory aluminum wheels. spare trans, seats, rad, grill, intake. tube bumpers front and rear, fenders cut and rolled for clearance. body is in decent shape for the year. no major dents and minor rocker panel rust. it runs good and 4x4 works well. i am asking 1200 for all listed. you would need to put sway bars on it to make it a dd. btw black w/grey interior.

Just needs a master cylinder. And the brakes bleed, and a windshield. I just ran all new lines calipers and pads.
