Hey everyone. I've had my xj for a few months now and am ready to do a lift on it, I am looking for add a leaf springs for the back and shackles. If I will need new shocks for that set up then I am also looking for shocks. Let me know what you have!

Anything more than 2 inches (spaces and shackles) will require new shocks. even 2 inches is pushing it on stock shocks.

What about the front?

I found a cheap pair of 31's I can have so basically I want a big enough lift to fit those and look nice. My current leaf springs are shot so I figured as long as I was going to have to replace them, I might as well do the lift at the same time. I have not thought about the front yet. And I think used is the direction I am going

Well you need atleast a 3 inch left to run 31s without cutting your fenders, I would suggest getting a 3in rough Country Kit or a 4.5 with full leafs for like 600-800. Talk to the Sales Rep, in the vendor section, for a 10 percent discount.

AAL or Add-a-Leaf is a lift kit, (cheap) that stiffens your leaf springs by adding a leaf to your spring pack, causing lift.

Oh awesome! So aal plus shackles will give me like 5 inches of lift? How much to ship them to 14450?

Again, you will also need shocks. not only that but you will need to get the front taken care of.

also AAL is not a perm fix, it will loss its height

You will not get 5 inches of lift from an aal lol. Most you want on an aal is 3, but do a 3 inch aal, and either new front lifted coils. My buddy did a bb, which is short for budget boost. Two inch lift gave him room for 31's. But not much flex cause it was only 2 inches. Good luck bud

Where are u from I have a complete rough country 3 inch aal lift kit with shocks and a lift rear shackle coils as well. For sale how much u looking to spend? And obviously you'd have to pay shipping. Pm me for pics and details.
