I have an alternator from a 87 cherokee and a 94 grand don't know if those will work for you but am willing to ship if you have a paypal. $20+shipping for either one.

Hi, just saw your post/reply, that would be awesome. My alt has a post where one wire bolts up, 10mm i believe, and two smaller terminals that have a double eyelet connector that are 7 or 8 mm. If ya find one, let me know and ill get ya paid!

Went yesterday and the newest xj they had was an 89 lol. Going again on Tuesday to a bigger place, I'll let you know.

Cool, thanks again for lookn out, i just drove an hour today to a yard by the ill/wi border (was looking for more than the alt) but all i found were carcasses with glass and seats, all elect gone!!! Not being ignorate, just refuse to pay $140 bucks to the man for something that SHOULD only be like $60.00 brand new!!!!
