My jeep got backed into and now I need a new mirror. I've read the reman units from Crown and others are garbage. If anyone has a parts jeep and would be willing to sell me one, I would greatly appreciate it. It needs to be cable adjusted, and I would prefer chrome. Thanks.

You should convert to the late model mirrors. MUCH better view and nicer construction.

Are the aftermarket replacements decent? I have thought about swapping them a little bit.

Never tried them. But I part out 97+ XJ's and have several sets of mirrors for sale if you'd like for me to ship some to you. $40 plus shipping.
