Yeah i looked at that one and i read the reviews too lol.... Lets just say i dont want that one lol. It looked super thin and the reviews said mainly for straight line light pulls other wise it'll bend. I'm liking this northern tool one... Any input on the one with the handles on the side? It looks like it would be a little nicer maybe

They're both the same mount. $70 from Northern Tool is what I'd go with.
I could build you one but it'd be $75.
You're over thinking it, go with Northern Tool!

i have one i made that I would sell cheap, A bit beefier than those too, but it probably wouldn't be worth shipping.
Having had a receiver mount winch, I would try to get one with wings/handles. My basket + xcr8 combo with steel wire rope was ~80 lbs. It decently hard to handle without a dedicated spot to pick it up by, unless your into bear hugging muddy winches.
I ended up getting a dedicated winch bumper since i installed in in the front and never ended up putting it in the back, So i figured a more secure and out of the way front mount was idea. Its a great idea though if you actually will move it or switch it between vehicles.
