Where do you find that 8 digit part number. I have a 1991 XJ and my ECU does not have any such number
There is a white sticker on one of the electrical components on the board that has two numbers
TDK M 2390
5234855
Those are the only identifying marks / numbers on the board, components, or case. I'm looking to get a replacement ECU for my 1991, Automatic, 50 State Leagal Cherokee Sport, 4.0L. I realize that this is an old post but I'm seeing that dropping an ECU from a 1992 automatic, 50 state legal Cherokee is the fix recommended by some people but others have tried it and their Jeep either still won't start or it runs horrible. I need to figure out what part number I have and locate the same part number. These ECU's are not all created equal. Any assistance is much appreciated.
