Warn XD9000I $450 Clarksville, TN
In Clarksville, TN I have a Warn XD9000I that started life as a 24V winch. I replaced the 24V motor with a 12V motor. The 12V motor isn't a factory Warn motor but the only fall back is the winch is slower than regular warns (now this to me is a benifit because warns are SO FAST when you release the button it will keep turning where this will stop when you release.)
I don't know the line speed so don't ask. The whole winch was disassembled, cleaned, painted the drum, greased and reassembled with the new motor. Since the rebuild it was mounted to a jeep long enough to re-string the cable. This winch has brand new battery cable and works great. As a test I locked the brakes (parking brake and service brakes) facing up hill and drug the jeep the hill and it worked fantastic.
