That's a good question, and to be honest I'm not sure how the longevity will be, printing on vinyl is new to me and I am just getting into it. Some colors will fade faster than others, but I would hope it would last 2 years or more. As far as looks go it's going to be somewhat of a matte finish. I print on a matte finish vinyl and it's then it's laminated for more outdoor durability. I am going to my local supplier on Friday and hoping to source some gloss material that will work for some more photo type output also.

The print quality will be as good as the image that is chosen. The printer itself will print photo quality images, I did a test print on gloss photo paper vs my HP Photo printer and in my opinion the picture looked better than the HP Photo printer.

Also depends on ink type too. Solvent inks, laminates, uv treatments all make a difference. A customer of mine has a wrap on his vehicle that is over 4 years old and other than scrapes and scratches it looks great. I'm using aqueous type inks, laminates, and can also UV coat and from what I've read and been told by the suppliers it can last 3 years but again some colors like red fade faster. If I can get 18-24 months I'll be happy.
At one time I did color printing using a Roland Colorcamm which used resin ribbons, they worked well and held up well but cost and maintenance on the machine was high so we sold it and just stuck with cut vinyl. But now it's time to start doing color again but on a small scale and if the demand is their move up to a bigger machine. But as I am sure you know that is a huge investment!

Just got in some license plate blanks. Just about anything you want on a blank $10!!! I have aluminum and plastic blanks. Your choice (both are white).

Wondering if this would be doable:
I don't want the white background of the flag. Just want the bear, grass, star, lettering and bar. Only thing I would like to change is have "New California Republic" in white instead of brown. I don't care if the bear and grass are separated from each other, and I don't care about having the picture printed on them or just having the bodies solid colors; it doesn't matter to me. I just really want this sticker. cball917 said he couldn't do it for me but that you might be able to.
Thanks!

I'm wanting to get a "drive a hybrid, my jeep needs your gas!" sticker for my bumper, could I get an image of what it would look like? 94xjsport94 brought me here.
