FS 1948 Ford F1 Pick Up - Accurately Restored
If you have ever seen a truck that looks like this one on a Calendar page or on the cover of a Ford Book or catalog you can relax and know that you are correct ... this is that pick up.
If you know Fords then you know what it takes to be a Great Truck and this one is just that. The Flathead is a type ABA and it purs like a loud kitten.
This is a driving truck. If you are thinking you would want this to exercise your polishing cloths you might want to buy a Chevrolet for that. This is a "Let's Go Get Donuts" truck or let's go to Lowes truck.
You can buy this today and show it tonight, take it to cruise night or just park it out side a burger joint and watch folks trip over themselves as they drool over your beautiful truck.
$14,500 ... is the asking price and fortunately it's only money and they print more and more of that stuff every day. So, no biggie there.

Oh my God, if I wasn't still in college I would buy that faster then you could say "Damn". My old man LOVES the older style Ford F-1's, and it would light his world up if I bought him one. Good luck with the sell. My barber is a BIG TIME collector of older model Fords. I will give him a call and tell him to take a look. Gorgeous truck man.

You do advertisements for company's or something for a living don't you? LOL... item location in original post please... also try and include more information about the truck... like what motor... how many were made/left... when it was restored... miles on new parts... stuff like that helps sell when people know what there getting vs. Just looks...

The truck is located in Apple Valley, CA. It has NEVER left SoCal.
The engine is the original V8 Flattie ABA
I have not seen another as detailed for accuracy as this one, down to the color choice. You see lots if Red and Black, Black and Blue or three tone but this is the correct color choice, just better paint.
This was restored 5 years ago and we went for accuracy on the outside and driveability inside the motor and trans. It's the same truck just better on the inside. Correct parts, made better.
The donut store is pretty close and so is the local diner so I would reckon there is less than 15,000 on the restore. This is no parade truck or any of that nonsense. I'd drive it across country but when you think about that the romance part dies quickly. Just because it could doesn't mean you should.
I have another deal for you. These pics were taken in the back yard. Cool huh, with the gas pumps?
You give me $235,500 and I'll give you this truck and the 6 car garage it stays in. The 3 bedroom house attached to the garages is free with your purchase.
See, nothing but a giver over here.
Thank you,

Seriously, this truck needs to be sold.
I'll tell you what ... buy this truck this week and I'll throw in One Free Hug.
But, you better hug me like you mean it.

My brother is having a hard time as well selling his 1962 Chevy C-10 stepside. He was quoted by a few car collectors at a higher price. Even his lower asking price seems hard. I think its just the economy and people not spending as much on toys. you do have a great looking truck
