1997 Jeep Cherokee 4 Door For sale in Syracuse, NY $700
Hey all!
Sad to say, the Jeep has to go. School and work have made it impossible for me to find time to do anything with this and it's just sitting there being useless.
The good: It is a white 4 door Cherokee. Automatic. 4WD. HO Inline 6 4.0L. It starts immediately. It stays running. It has newer tires with alloy rims. There is a steel rim in the back cargo area with a crappy tire and then a new Wrangler spare that hasn't been used from what I know of that can be put on the steel rim. The body is in pretty decent condition for the area. The undercarriage isn't awful either but it does have rust (no rot from what I can tell). The glass is good. I have a title. It is not currently on the road.
The bad: It would probably need to be towed from where it sits. I know it needs front wheel bearings. It may need u-joints somewhere. The fluids need to be flushed all the way around. I think the 4WD linkage needs adjustment. It WILL go into 4WD Hi but it likes to grind when it goes into Lo. It will go into Lo as well, it can just be noisy. I don't know what that means. The front passenger door lock won't turn and neither will the back gate. The back gate works though and all the other doors work just fine. It's just the cylinder that is seized I think.
I'm asking $700. Please come take this away and use it. Oh, and it has 201K on it. Not being driven currently. Have a few extra mats (non-matching color) to throw in as well. That's about it. Any questions, feel free to ask!!!

Believe you me, that makes two of us! I was really thrilled when I got this but I'm just being realistic with myself at this point. I've been waiting on a refund check to do anything to it and by the time I get it, snow flies around these parts. And I'm garageless. Not a good combo! So off it goes instead of wasting away over the winter.
