99k and already had 2 rebuild tranny?? Ewww....
Outta curiousity why'd u have 2 rebuild it?? We have a 99 with 215k and are finally about 2 have 2 do the same... 8/ But clean wj, free up. Sure you'll get asking imo. Later~Paul |
the trans wasn't that bad actually, it had a slight clunk when downshifting from overdrive to 3rd on the highway. i had an aftermarket warranty when i bought it so i had the trans built at a reputable shop. i am a delivery driver for ford so i know the guys at the shop personally and they went over and above with the quality of work.
when i bought the truck i thought it would be a good idea to have this as a comfy DD and be able to tow my XJ to the trails. little did i know that my long commute to work would use so much gas and with prices rising i just don't need a v8 suv. i bought a 4 cyl car already and it's time to let the WJ go. i still have an XJ for wheeling anyway |
