ULTIMATE 88 31 spline axle kit 95-02 Explorer, 4340 CHROME-MOLY ( DOUBLE DRILLED). The Yukon Ultimate 88 kit eliminates the factory c-clips and converts your housing to use two 4340 Chrome-Moly bolt in axles. No welding is needed, just a little grinding to remove the factory axle seal area. The result is a super strong setup to give you years of hard use on the trail!
This Widens the 8.8 back to stock Jeep XJ/TJ width. And gives you 4340 chromoly axles with eliminating the c-clips.

So who has the 8.8 with C-Clips and narrower then stock still? Anyone not running this kit, that is.

the 8.8 is a great axle in stock form.
But to get the width back to stock, and to ditch the C-Clips, this kit does both.

FYI, August 1st there is a reliable rumor that most pricing is going up from a major supplier of wholesale drivetrain to most of us that sell Yukon, USA Standard, Dana, Detroit, Etc.
